The cello is one of our favorite instruments in the orchestra. He has an incredibly wide emotional range, from sinister and low-key to sweet and lyrical. This is why we weren’t messing around when we started our Odyssey trial.
We present to you EMBERTONE – BLAKUS CELLO, a collaboration with the mighty Blake Robinson, Australian composer / cellist. We tracked down Blake after he released the popular “Pocket Blakus” freebie and dived right into development. The result is a set of huuuuge samples: expressive sustains, sharp intuitive strokes, pizzicato, tremolo … and a carefully prepared model for sul ponticello and con sordino with a legato script. This cello will add expressiveness to your music – and hopefully add some joy to your musical life!
